BOSTON -- Twins Minor League outfielder Michael Harrington was issued a 50-game suspension after testing positive for Andarine, a performance-enhancing substance.
Harrington, 24, had been playing for the Twins' Class A Fort Myers affiliate in the Florida State League. He was batting .145 (12-for-83), with five RBIs in 24 games for the Miracle. Harrington was a 13th-round pick for the Twins in the 2008 First-Year Player Draft.
His suspension will begin immediately.
