Twins sign two Draft picks

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Twins announced Thursday that they have already signed two of their picks from this week's First-Year Player Draft.

The club signed its ninth-round pick, catcher Kyle Knudson from the University of Minnesota. Knudson, 6-foot-3, 210 pounds, will report to the club's rookie team in Elizabethton. Also signed was the Twins' 44th-round pick, left-handed pitcher David Deminsky from St. Cloud State University. Deminsky, 6-foot-3, 195 pounds, will report to the Gulf Coast League Twins rookie team.
