Marquis remains in NY with family
FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Twins right-hander Jason Marquis remains home in New York tending to a family issue, as his 7-year-old daughter was in a serious bike accident last week.

Marquis has been away from Twins camp for six days, and missed his scheduled start against the Rays on Saturday.

The Twins don't know when he'll return, but he's been throwing bullpen sessions back in New York, and he should still be able to rejoin the rotation when he gets back.

"He's still OK, because he's working there," said Twins general manager Terry Ryan. "It's not like he's not doing anything up there. I'm more worried about that girl than I am pitching. That'll take care of itself."
