FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Twins outfielder Trevor Plouffe participated in a workout without any issues on Monday, and is scheduled to play in a Minor League game on Wednesday.
Plouffe, who has been dealing with a strained right hamstring suffered on March 18, was slated to play in a Minor League game on Monday, but he needed a few extra days to let his hamstring heal.
"He did well today," Twins general manager Terry Ryan said. "So he's going to go through the bases tomorrow and then play Wednesday."
Plouffe, who is out of Minor League options, is hitting .276 in 10 games this spring.
