Twins place Wood on Disabled List, Reassign Harden and Perez


Ft. Myers, FL – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed right-handed pitcher Tim Wood on the 15-day disabled list with a right rotator cuff strain (retroactive to March 24).  Additionally, the Twins have reassigned right-handed pitcher Rich Harden and left-handed pitcher Rafael Perez to minor league camp.

The Twins now have 25 active players in camp: 12 pitchers, 2 catchers, 6 infielders and 5 outfielders. The Twins also have three players on the disabled list: Scott Diamond (left elbow), Anthony Swarzak (ribs) and Tim Wood (rotator cuff).
