Arcia listed day to day with bruised right hand

TORONTO -- Twins left fielder Oswaldo Arcia left Saturday's 6-0 victory over the Blue Jays with a right hand bruise after being hit by a pitch in the sixth inning. He is day to day.

Arcia was stuck on the hand by a 78-mph knuckleball from Blue Jays right-hander R.A. Dickey with two outs. He remained in the game and stole second base before Trevor Plouffe lined out to third to end the inning.

Arcia then stayed in the game for the bottom of the sixth before being replaced in left field by Clete Thomas in the bottom of the seventh.

"It's sore, but they X-rayed it and everything is fine," Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said. "It's a bruise. So I'd imagine he might be available, but I'll just wait until we get in here tomorrow. He's been playing every day, so it's not a bad thing if we have to give him a day off. So we'll just see how he is when he gets in."

Thomas struck out looking against reliever Darren Oliver in the eighth in his lone at-bat. Arcia went 0-for-2 against Dickey before he was hit by the pitch.
