Twins Option Diamond and Hicks to Triple-A Rochester


The Minnesota Twins announced after today's game that they have optioned left-handed pitcher Scott Diamond and outfielder Aaron Hicks to Triple-A Rochester. The Twins will recall outfielder Oswaldo Arcia in time for tomorrow's game against Houston and make an additional roster move at a later date.

Diamond made 20 starts this season posting a record of 5-10, 5.52 ERA (107.2 IP, 66 ER) with 31 walks and 45 strikeouts. Hicks appeared in 81 games hitting .192 (54-for-281) with 11 doubles, three triples, eight home runs, 27 RBI and 37 runs scored.
