MINNEAPOLIS -- The Twins have a tentative date for the opening of Target Field in 2010, according to a report by the Associated Press. The Twins will open up their new ballpark on April 12 against the Boston Red Sox, the report said. The AP learned of the date after obtaining a draft of next season's schedule that was recently sent to teams. The schedule was provided to the AP by a baseball official on the condition of anonymity due to Major League Baseball's request that the schedule not be made public before it is finalized later this year. According to the report, the Twins are scheduled to open the 2010 season on April 5 on the road against the Los Angeles Angels.
