Twins place Duensing on paternity list


Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN - The Minnesota Twins announced that they have placed left-handed pitcher Brian Duensing on the Paternity List.

To replace Duensing on the 25-man roster, the Twins have recalled right-handed pitcher Michael Tonkin from Triple-A Rochester. Tonkin will be in uniform for today's game in Chicago (#59). 

In seven Spring Training games with the Twins, Tonkin threw 8.1 scoreless innings.
