The stage will be set up in foul territory near 3rd base with seating limited to seating sections along the 3rd base side of the ballpark. Rock Singer/Songwriter Melissa Etheridge headlines the evening. Etheridge is known for her mixture of "confessional lyrics, pop-based folk-rock, and raspy, smoky vocals." She has received fifteen Grammy Award nominations, winning two and an Academy Award.

Alternative Rock Band, O.A.R. is renowned for its intense, vibrant live show - including selling out Madison Square Garden twice -and the communal feeling it shares with its fans. With each studio album, the band has endeavored to achieve that sense of immediacy.

The Rembrandts gained popularity not only for their hit songs, but for their signature harmonies and catchy hooks that filled their albums from start to finish.

Gear Daddies, from Austin, Minnesota have been together for nearly 30 years and are one of the most resilient and influential Americana/Rock bands ever to come out of the Twin Cities.

The Honeydogs is another group to emerge from the ever-fertile Minneapolis music scene. The band debuted with a 1995 self-titled effort which introduced their twangy garage-pop sound.

Gates for the Skyline Music Festival on Saturday, Aug. 9 will open at 4 p.m. with music starting at 5 p.m.

A crowd of 6,752 people attended the inaugural Skyline Music Festival on Friday, July 26 2013. The first-ever amphitheater-style show at Target Field featured Soul Asylum, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Matthew Sweet and Gear Daddies.
