The Twins have added an additional day of concerts to the second annual Skyline Music Festival, with Andrew Bird and The New Pornographers headlining Indie Night on Aug. 8, at Target Field.
Tickets for the event -- which was already set to feature Melissa Etheridge, O.A.R., The Rembrandts, Gear Daddies and The Honeydogs on Aug. 9 -- go on sale to the general public on Tuesday at 10 a.m. CT.
The concert stage will be set up in foul territory near third base, with seating limited to sections along the third-base side of Target Field. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m., and the bands will begin playing at 5:30 p.m.
Thao & The Get Down Stay Down, S. Carey and Dosh will also perform on Aug. 8.
Last year's Skyline Music Festival, the first amphitheater-style show at Target Field, was a sold-out event.
