ARLINGTON-- Brian Dozier and Kurt Suzuki each moved up a slot in the Twins' lineup Friday after leadoff hitter Danny Santana went to the disabled list. Both are hoping the same happens for them in All-Star voting.

As of Sunday's results, each were in the top five of their respective positions, though Dozier had dropped from fourth to fifth among American League second basemen. Meanwhile Suzuki moved up, in the catchers' pool, passing Boston A.J. Pierzynski for the No. 4 slot.

Dozier had 841,980 votes has of Sunday, while Suzuki had 812,865.

Seattle's Robinson Cano leads all second basemen with 2,007,055 votes and Baltimore's Matt Wieters is at the top of the catchers, with 1,852,770.
