CHICAGO -- The Twins set a mark never reached in the 13-year era of manager Ron Gardenhire.

During the Twins' 16-3 rout of the White Sox on Sunday, Chris Parmelee, Oswaldo Arcia and Eric Fryer belted consecutive homers in the ninth.

The back-to-back-to-back homers marked the first for Minnesota since July 12, 2001, against the Brewers.

Gardenhire was the team's third-base coach at the time.
